Dear Parents,

Please DO NOT leave your car on while you are picking up/dropping off your child. After discussing this continued problem with several professionals, they have advised me to fine people for leaving their cars running, because it is an enormous safety hazard.

We recently had a car unattended move in our lot and thankfully it only hit another car and not a child.

Please be warned that staff will be watching as they will share in the fine. It will be $50.00 per incident if you are caught leaving your car running without an adult in the driver's seat.

Thank you for your cooperation as we are only doing this for the safety of our children. After notification of this request we still have had some cars being left running and unattended by an adult. This is total disregard to the safety of our children. Staff and parents who report this type of incident will share in the fine when collected.
