Dear Parents,

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you. December is here and the children are already excited about Santa. We will be busy this month making Christmas decorations, sining Christmas songs and making our own gifts for Mom and Dad. Please don't peek when you're in our room! We will also be finishing our number unit.

Our Thanksgiving feast was great thanks to all of your. The children enjoyed wearing their Pilgrim hats and celebrating the First Thanksgiving. Thanks to all our parents who provided food for our feast.

We will have our Christmas parties on Thursday, December 17th and Friday, December 18th. We are going to have a gift exchange in each room on party day. Your child should bring a gift (approximately $5 in value); wrapped and marked with your child's name (this tells whom the gift is from). If you have a little boy in nursery school, buy a boy's gift, if you have a little girl in nursery school, buy a girl's gift. Tag example: For: Boy -  From: Nick; For: Girl - From: Susie. Please have your gift turned into us not later than Thursday, December 10th or Friday, December 11th. The gift is for a classmate, not your own child.

Mrs. Otero and I would like to thank all of you for your help and support this year. Thank you to all our parent readers, our PTA, our parents who made play dough and our parents that helped at parties. We wish all of you and your families a very happy holiday season and wonderful 2010.
