Dear Parents,
It’s hard to believe that summer time is here once again. With the school year ending, we are now getting ready to start our Summer Camp registrations.
Our Summer Camp this year will be filled with fun outdoor activities that the children will be able to enjoy. Click here for Summer Calendar of events. This calendar page is password protected please inquire within for access. Some of the days may be subject to change depending on weather. When viewing the calendar, the current month will show up first. You must use the arrows to move to June 2011. Some of the events are underlined, showing that you may click on it to see more information.
The program will start on the first day of summer break and those children that have finished their kindergarten year and older are welcome to join us.
Registration Fee $10.00
Tuition $27.00.
Children must bring a morning snack and lunch everyday. Parents are responsible for applying sunscreen before sending them to Camp. Staff will reapply it early afternoon. Please also pack a bathing suit and towel daily, as some of the parks we will go to have a swim area or water fountains.
Hours for Summer Camp activities are 10:00am to 3:00pm. Some activities may require us to leave before 10:00. Your child will also be entitled to 4 hours of daily Day Care at no extra charge when paying for Summer Camp.
The teacher for our Summer Camp this year is once again, Miss Amanda. You will find a calendar for the Summer Camp Program for the month of June by clicking here! This page is password protected you will need to inquire within to get the user id and password for this page. Activities might have to be changed around depending on the weather.
We will typically go to a morning event, then proceed to a park to eat lunch. The park will vary daily, and will depend on where we are in the morning, and a popularity vote from the children.
This year, I have added in some new events and places that we have not been to before! We will spend a day volunteering at Hillside Farms, keep a garden, and collect donations for the SPCA. We will also be participating in the Summer Reading Program at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library here in Mountain Top.
I am very excited for this summer, and counting down the days until camp starts! -Miss Amanda
